Sabonis had post moves like Mchale. Passing like Bird. And strength like Shaq. Only Olajuwon was better than him in the 80s.

She is kinda beautiful. Gonna have some strange feelings next time I see Domas.

They never played against each other. Sabonis always would rise to a challenge against somebody who theoretically was better than him. In 1985 Soviet NT had a tour in the USA to play against good college teams. In NY they played against Georgetown and a certain center Ewing. During the warmups Ewing broke the backboard. In the game Sabas had something like 25/15/5, and a W for his team with ~+15.
The Dream was special. True master of his craft. The same was Sabas. BUT, there is one thing - Sabas was good 4-5 inches taller than The Dream. On the defense Sabonis was dominant with his blocks and rebounds. Though offensively The Dream was pretty nifty. Sabas was more like a Tiger tank. Uff, if just healthy Sabonis had a chance to compete against the best. Never happened, so we will never no.
After Sabas tore his same Achilles tendon twice in 86-87, he lost like 90% of his speed, quickness, jump, agility. End of story.
