I've criticized him, but that's a big boy basket by Bojan.

Eyebrow acting like he just secured the finals-clinching rebound.

Myles needs to work on the stuff that Domas is good at. Positioning, screening, boxing out, sealing, and passing.

We're just a bad team.
Going to make it 4 straight losses tomorrow.

This is who we are when Oladipo isn't going out of his mind.

Re: Game Thread 11/7: Pacers vs. Pelicans
Our pick and roll in the halfcourt without Domas lacks good decision-making. I am all for Domas in clutch time, with or without Turner. It's not that Myles isn't plus, it's that the guards can't initiate offense as well and the positioning in general of the team suffers and we become easy to defend.

I suspected we'd lose because of poor rebounding, but not like that. Ouch!

Re: Game Thread 11/7: Pacers vs. Pelicans
We knew that we couldn't stop Davis and Cousins inside. This fact was evident throughout the game. In the first half we got a significant lead because we kept running. In the second half (and especially in the last few minutes) we gave up on running. This is why we weren't able to get it going offensively.
And when we aren't able to get it going offensively, we just lose. We aren't good enough defensively to get the important stops when we need them (even though Thad got a couple of defensive stops late in the game).

Wasn't surprised we lost, but it still hurts.
Hopefully we won't go into a serious slide, and hopefully Oladipo goes back to playing like he was earlier because without him we have no chance.

Myles shouldnt play against Cousins... he was raped again... he received almost 100 points in last 2 games in Indianapolis... this is not how future franchize player should play...
Next game we are playing in Detroit... who will score 40? Harris or Jackson... maybe we should make some bets... just to be fun to watch...

Myles can watch plenty of tapes and he has a good training partner. Just needs to fuse his brains and body together

The good news was I was aware of what Boog was gonna do to us and had him on DraftKings. I've found when you know an individual player is going to put a hurting on your team it makes it easier when they are on your DK roster.

Re: Game Thread 11/7: Pacers vs. Pelicans
New Orleans scores by quarters 34/27/35/21
Pacers scores by quarters 37/38/19/18
I think the offense after half-time was the problem, not defense. In particular, the scoring slowed way down in the 4th quarter for both teams. now I tend to think the power of coaching is over-stated, but isn't this the same pattern we've seen in Colts games and there everyone blames Pagano? I'm beginning to think that neither the Colts nor the Pacers are able to anticipate and deal with the adjustments that their opponents make at half-time.

I think you're on to something here.
