MEMPHIS — One team struggling on defense meets another that is turned cold on offense when the Memphis Grizzlies open a four-game homestand Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers.

I got to go to the game at Memphis last year. Was a disaster of a game but had a hell of a time. Fun place to watch a game. Also, a great franchise. They are the type of team that every year you look at them and ask how are they so good. They have lost 5 of 7. Not going to be easy but it would be great to go to the Grindhouse and get a win!

Last years I felt nothing but respect for Memphis. If Pacers will play well, we know they can do it - could be an interesting game. Game against Rockets was a shameful exhibit of young team's little mental inability to play smart for the 48 minutes. That's fixable.
Hoping for a good game and a much needed road W against a very good team.

I want to see Myles best game yet. It's about time.

Yes hopefully he is getting his legs back under him and getting into the groove. Remember, he missed a lot of time on the court while he was out.

Conley didn't participate in shootaround and is questionable tonight.

Glad to see there is someone else around here with the good sense to be both a Pacers and a Cardinals fan. :D

Yeah, I'm looking for Turner to get it going too. I think it's likely he's still trying to get back in a groove after being out with the concussion. Maybe still trying to build chemistry with the new backcourt too --Turner needs to be getting more shots, and maybe part of that is on Collison and Dipo to get him the ball where he can score.

We get the early lead, maybe a big one, but our problem often been sustaining the play, grinding thru and not getting all iso happy when people tighten up their D, we need to play smart 48 minutes, trust each other and than we can win.

He's got a tough matchup with Marc Gasol, I'd love to see him get back into a groove offensively though.

We need to get some chemistry going on. We played better through all the injuries we had at the start of the season than I would have expected us to, but I think it came at the cost of throwing off our gameplan, I think. Gotta get back to what we were trying to do at the beginning. Ball movement. Pace. Feed Turner. Make the extra pass. Get both starting guards scoring points. More Sabonis. More Lance/Sabonis pnr.

Ball movement and speed are very important. And it's not just running speed. It's decision-making speed. Domantas affected many plays in his minutes through making decisions faster than the defense could react. Now we are as a team making decisions slower than the defense's reactions, especially in the halfcourt offense. We're not leveraging opportunities and space. Our players create it and don't seem to know what to do with it.

Domas shooting 60% from the field. Atrocious game by him.

That's the same guy that everyone on the T&T Board said was a failure and not worth anything when the Pacers got him.

Domas and Turner Both with 3 assists, which is a great sign.
