Game Thread 11/25: Pacers vs Celtics

Indiana Pacers
ORTG: 7th
DRTG: 17th
SRS: 10th

Boston Celtics:
ORTG: 15th
DRTG: 1st
SRS: 3rd

This could get ugly if we don't bring our A game offensively. Both teams on the second night of a back-to-back.

An interesting tweet about the best rim-protectors in the NBA this season. So far, Myles has been pretty good. Suprisingly, Domas' stats aren't among the absolute worst either (both him and Myles are better than Drummond, Gortat, Horford, Vucevic, Marc Gasol, DeAndre Jordan and a few other notable names). Porzingis on the other hand, is absolutely dominant protecting the rim.

Turner's elite at rim protection, judging from the graph - contesting everything it seems. Thad's underwhelming as expected, only gripe against him as a defender.

If Oladipo doesn't play, Turner needs to take most of his shots and actually show why he's promising in the first place.

Without Oladipo, everyone will need to step up. Victor is playing at an All-Star level and his production is not easy to make up for.

If no Oladipo, who are we gonna see more of?

Could McMillan give Lance significantly more time after yesterday's performance? His confidence might be at season high right now.

I think the Pacers are probably due for a loss here and honestly, I'm glad its against Boston instead of a team like the Nets or something.

Winning this game was going to be difficult regardless, but without Oladipo or at the least, a not full strength Oladipo? I just can't see it happening.

Their defense is elite and I think it will slow down our offense a decent bit, which isn't good. I think they are more likely to get us to play their game, than we are to get them to play our game. But we'll see. Go Pacers!

Just to add...boston playing without Brown tonight as well. Stayed in Atlanta tonight after he attended his friends funeral

Also no Marcus Morris for Boston, he doesnt play back to backs.

Sadly that won't be nearly enough to outweigh what Oladipo means to Indiana. Victor has been playing at an all-star level, and that's not a biased exaggeration. I'd be quite shocked if this was a close game.

Wasnt implying that at all tho Brown out is fairly big for the Celts. Not Oladipo big of course. Was just sharing info. Anyway here's hoping for a good one, Pacers have been fun so far.

Not surprising. He shut us down when we played them.

Anyway, about the game. I have absolutely zero expectations tonight. This 5-game winning streak has been awesome and nothing is going to take this away. The Celtics are really, really good and we're missing Dipo. I just want our players to play free tonight.
