Game Thread 01/08: Pacers vs. Bucks

Post#1 » by boomershadow » Mon Jan 8, 2018 12:33 am

Now Indiana will be looking for revenge against a Bucks team that dominated them in their first meeting of the season on Wednesday night in Milwaukee. MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo created all sorts of problems for Indiana in that contest, racking up 31 points on 12-of-18 shooting, nine rebounds, and five assists in just 29 minutes of action.

There are no other words to put in - a must win game. Dipo is back and in good shape, Domas (second best payer on a team - maybe with Collison) looks like he is out of his December funk...
JUST LET'S GET THAT W.
Bucks have NOBODY who could play good D against Domas. He should see more minutes for sure.

This should be a good one. Important for the standings too. They are weak inside, expecting our bigs to do well.

Big game tonight. We have no one that can guard Giannis. They have no one that can guard Sabonis.

I believe that we have to go big with Myles and Sabonis tonight. We need Myles for his rim protection and we need Sabonis for his scoring. Thad should only play if he can guard Giannis (which is a monumentally tough task). If he cannot do it then he should be replaced with Sabonis.

Turner with the steal, takes it all the way to basket, and then the monster dunk.

Myles has 3 blocks and 2 steals in the first five minutes. He's playing amazing defensively.

Turner off to a good start in spite of the two missed Free Throws.

I'm convinced Lance can do the impossible.

Leaf, you can't guard the Greek Freak what you doing.

Credit Leaf for finishing on Giannis, too. That guy can be an amazing offensive weapon in a couple of years.

He has been struggling for a while. Something has to be a bit off, health-wise.

That said, he has been good tonight other than two errand passes.

It was that goofy mohawk he had going. Much better now that he's got a normal hair do.
