I didn't realize the Wiz have won 4 in a row. How long has Wall been out for? I wouldv'e thought they would miss Wall but i guess not...

Game Thread 02/05: Pacers vs. Wizards
The Wiz have now won four games in a row, all of which have come without John Wall, who is expected to miss several weeks with knee surgery. But in his absence, Bradley Beal, one of the league's premier shooting guards, has shined even brighter, expanding his game to help fill the void left by Wall. During their blowout win over the Magic on Saturday night, Beal nearly notched a triple double, scoring 18 points, and adding eight rebounds and eight assists, all in just 31 minutes on the floor.
The Pacers (30-23) — now sporting a 19-10 home record on the season — have used The Fieldhouse to help stack wins over the month of January, sending Indiana up the standings and making the Wizards a potential playoff matchup. Had the season ended on Saturday night, Indiana would have played Washington.

Wall last played in the loss at OKC before the 4 game win streak.

This is the biggest game of the season so far with respect to standings.
If we win, we jump to 4th I believe. If not, we fall back to 7th.

huge for sure, but while a win would put both us and Washington 8.5 games out, they'd still be 4th percentage points ahead of us because they've played fewer games. whether a loss puts us 6th or 7th depends upon Miami game.

Makes you think eh? Do the Wiz actually play better without their $40m man? LOL
FWIW, it's well-known that teams can get a short term boost without their star player. We've seen that in the past too. So it may be nothing

True something similar to a coach being fired also, look at the Bucks, we see how it goes.
Quote from Beal “Everybody eats. Everybody has success. Everybody gets a touch,” Bradley Beal explained once again (in a tone implying that you better not take this out of context and diss my teammate John Wall) after the Wizards’ 115-98 win over the Magic on Saturday night. "Everybody shoots the ball. Everybody plays defense. Everybody rebounds."

it'll be interesting to see who plays behind Bojan. Poythress? Thad?

It's amazing the difference in the feel of this team without Victor.

I've actually liked how this lineup looks out there somehow even though I expected the opposite.

Sabonis is killing it as the 4. Just a tough matchup for a 4 on the block.
