Since the loss of their All-Star forward, the Pelicans have gone 1-4, with three of the losses being at their home arena, the Smoothie King Center.

For the Pacers, injury and illness seemed to play a role in their most recent game, a 111-102 loss to the Washington Wizards at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Hours before the tip, it was announced the Darren Collison would miss two to three weeks with arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. In addition to Collison, Indiana's All-Star guard Victor Oladipo was ruled out with illness.

Scheduled for 8PM start time then delayed due to leaking roof. Now they're checking out the floor to see if it was damaged.

Hopefully it will be replayed in Indiana. New Orleans **** up and doesn't deserve the revenue for that game.

^^They'll have to figure that out. It has to be at SKC, it has to not create a terrible back-to-back for either team, and it has to be on a day that SKC isn't hosting another event.

Yes and no. Not the Pacers fault and sucks they have to go back there. Lots of folks missed out on a basketball game last night that had tickets. Don't want to take that away from them will be the NBA's stance on that. I felt really awful for the folks that sat there for an hour and a half waiting for the game and then it gets cancelled. That is a rough night and they will obviously get tickets to the re scheduled game but I hope the Pelicans do something else for them. They basically took away their night not to mention parking, concessions, etc. They need to do right by those folks.

Game is recheduled.

http://www.nola.com/pelicans/index.ssf/2018/02/pelicans_game_vs_indiana_pacer.html

The New Orleans Pelicans' game against the Indiana Pacers that was originally scheduled for Feb. 7 has been moved to March 21, the NBA announced Thursday.

A leak in the roof of the Smoothie King Center caused the game to be postponed, and the new date leaves the Pelicans with a brutal stretch of games in March.

New Orleans will play three games on three consecutive nights at the Smoothie King Center, with tilts scheduled against the Dallas Mavericks on March 20, the Pacers on March 21 and the Los Angeles Lakers on March 22.

So Pelicans will be playing 3 straight nights of which the Pacers will be the middle game. It's also on the tail end of a stretch of 5 games in 6 nights (Pacers' game would be #4), but on the plus side all those games will be at home for the Pelicans.

I feel a little bad for the Pelicans, but it was their own fault the roof leaked. Better them than us.

Works out nicely for us because it doesn’t give us a back-to-back (we had 3 days rest before they added this game).
