Game Thread 02/28: Pacers vs. Hawks

Post#1 » by basketballwacko2 » Thu Mar 1, 2018 12:39 am

I didn't see a game thread, looks like it's about to start.

We should be able to get a win here but we can't take it for granted.

Not looking great. Should we have had Oladipo rest more during the all star break?

I had a lot of hope for this team coming off a 4 game win streak to close out the pre-all star break season but im quickly losing it...

if we blow this, I don't like our chances in the next two.

Most of the rest of our schedule it's going to be super tough, so we decide to blow the games we were supposed to win easily?

I'm ready to see Joe Young start.

IDK what is going on with Cory Joseph he looks sloppy and lazy, his passes are weak.

This team is so confusing. Look terrible against two tankers right after winning four straight. Lack of energy and urgency again tonight. That's one thing I can't stand. If you give it your all, and just get beat that is one thing. When you don't appear to be trying your hardest... I've got a HUGE problem with that.

I hate to sound negative but 21 down 3 min in the 3rd looks like a loss to me.

I'm just tuning in for the second half. I don't think the Hawks have been called for a foul.

That comeback was pretty awesome though. I don't care who won.

what a way to throw away that come back.

Joseph needs to find a nice warm seat on the bench. Let Lance run point, or Vic, or Joe Young for all I care. Guy looks disinterested and made poor decisions all game.

we need DC.

Yeah this is the biggest issue. Joseph is a great backup PG, but he probably isn't as good as the worst starting PG in the league. Combine that with growing pains and general fatigue for young guys and it hasn't been good.
