and the Pacers have a better record than the Cavs! Who would have thought that?

39 and 28 with 15 games to go. Barring some kind of spectacular collapse 4th looks like a sure thing and they could end up in 3rd. 8-)

I wouldn't be so sure about that. The Pacers have a more difficult remaining schedule than some of the other teams competing for that spot. The team still has more road games (nine) remaining than home games (six), and have to play both Toronto and Golden State twice.

They could just as easily end up being the eighth seed as the fourth.

Mark Montieth tweeted that the silver lining on the rough schedule is that we'll end the season playoff ready because effectively they have started for us now. Boston win was big but Philly and Washington are coming up sandwiched around a tough Toronto game at home. two road wins would be huge as they both count double.

Also, we're not the only team with tough games coming up. Washington has MN, Boston, Us, Spurs, and Nuggets. Philly and Cleveland though do have easier paths so we can't coast.

I'm hoping we can finish 8-7. Extremely tough schedule to close it out.

Incredibly impressed with this team. Great accomplishment, and FWIW, we're ahead of OKC standings wise as well.

With that said, this won't be a sustainable. There are only two non-playoff teams left on our schedule. I'm expecting Philly and Washington to jump us when all is said and done. This is going to be the toughest stretch of our schedule all year long.

We have a tough schedule but we're also the healthiest we've been all year. DC's still rounding out into form, but GRIII, Trevor Booker, and Myles Turner locking in at the right time bode really well for this team. Homecourt in the first round is not out of the question.

Our schedule is brutal down the stretch. I'll be more than happy with 45 wins, even if it will be frustrating.

Boston may rest a lot of their players since very little chance they can catch Toronto. Saying that. Toronto may rest their players as well since they are 4 games So a Raptors loss is not guaranteed if they aren't playing their players.

The other side of the coin is that the NBA has been getting tougher on teams for holding players out of games for anything other than injuries. I suppose the teams could just lessen the players' minutes (as opposed to DNP-CD) and try to avoid getting fined that way.

I found the Bazemore injury a bit suspicious. Maybe the Smart one too. Seems like there have been several injuries this week.

I called it. Boston announced they are holding out 5 players for tomorrow home game against the wizards. So the Celtics are definitely resting players. So no one can count on Celtics or even the Raptors to win games down the stretch since they both are locked into the 1 and 2 slots.

there is a thread on the general board on the playoff races with charts that really show how difficult our schedule is. we're predicted to finish 6th with 45 wins.

edit picked up a game on both Philly and Washington tonight. now if Jazz and Suns could win.

We are team who showed that can beat every team in league(except Warriors), so it is hard to predict how many wins we will have... we could have between 45-50 wins... but we have really a tough Schedule... we have to be realistic, but our guys already showed that they can be a pleasant surprise so everything is possible...

Add the Rockets to your list. We got ghetto stomped by them both times we played them.

big physical centers have given us trouble, but Myles seems to have gotten the message. he certainly was more physical last night against Embid. Also, Booker gives us depth at the "power positions." we'll see how we do tomorrow when JV comes to town.

Hey Wiz, I'm not allowed to send PMs yet I guess. Only read them.. But I did not have a chance to try Pearl yet. My fiancee got out of work late and I couldn't make it last time. Toronto is gonna be a heck of a game tho!! Wish I had that in the package lol

I’m gonna be at the Toronto game tomorrow, excited. Last game I went to was the Rozier game winning dunk so hopefully this one goes a little better.
