Game Thread 04/10: Pacers vs. Hornets

Anyone doing anything special for the last game of the season? I'm getting together with a few friends and getting pizza.

On Tuesday, the Pacers will celebrate Fan Appreciation Night while they host the Charlotte Hornets (35-46) for the fourth meeting this season. During their last meeting on Sunday, Indiana built and early lead and protected it throughout as Domantas Sabonis posted a career-best 30 points in the victory.

Also of note was the Pacers' lofty assist total during the victory. As a group, Indiana passed out 27 dimes as the ball whipped around the court, creating a surplus of open shots.

As the postseason awaits, the Pacers have been playing some of the best basketball of their season, winning seven of their last 10, and moving into the top 12 in the league in both offensive and defensive rating (points per 100 possessions)

I'm going to bed early, crying over the fact that the regular season and my main reason of existence is about to end again.

Since we are a lock to be #5, some players might get some rest. Myles Turner definitely can use it.

Booker is starting at PF, not Domas. I was excited for a minute there.

Pacers are resting Dipo, Thad, and Bojan. Should be a good opportunity for the younger guys.

I'd also like to add a note of appreciation to boomershadow, for starting most game threads all season long, and also to ducler, for his informative infographics. I realize that it is (hopefully) script generated, but it still must be a lot of work to post these all season long. And for every team at that! Thanks guys!

Lance with the big block decides to flex instead of wondering where the ball went.

Props to Turner for playing with minor injury and not acting soft, but this isn't helping the team either.

Lance
