Yeah sometimes I just don't understand why people want to trade good/solid young players for picks, especially picks as low as 14.
Here are the #14 picks since 2000:
- Mateen Cleaves
- Troy Murphy
- Fred Jones
- Luke Ridnour
- Kris Humphries
- Rashad McCants
- Ronnie Brewer
- Al Thornton
- Anthony Randolph
- Earl Clark
- Patrick Patterson
- Marcus Morris
- John Henson
- Kelly Olynyk
- T.J. Warren
- Cameron Payne
- Denzel Valentine
- Bam Adebayo
I think what intrigues people about picks is the "mystery" of potentially drafting the next Kawhi Leonardo or Giannis Antetokounmpo... But in reality picking a guy like Sabonis is almost the best case scenario in that range.

Of course, my response was late, but Domas is a last guy you want to let go. In the last three years he had to adapt his game to the teams, on which he played, and he did it easily. Next season will be his second in Indiana, let's get ready for some serious fun.
