Still looks like a good amount of focus on the second round. I thought Clark had been listed on NBADraft.net before, but just looked and didn't see his name.

He's gone undrafted on most mock drafts, but here's how he's ranked on some:

Theringer.com: 59
Sportsillustrated.com: 59
Nbadraftroom: unranked but looking like a fringe late 2nd rounder
Thestepien: 29 (rankings)

DiVincenzo is climbing up the draft boards and I think it'll keep it's momentum come draft time. Bates-Diop looks just right at our draft range.

I would be thrilled with Bates-Diop

I'd be happy with either of those two.

on a side note, having read the stories on Pacers.com it turns out that the reason workouts started late was that many agents had workout events after the combine at their own locations. this delayed team visits. it also means that we shouldn't read too much into players who don't visit as we may have seen them elsewhere.

Agreed. One of the only worries about him is his lack of aggressiveness, and I feel like playing with Oladipo and Lance could really change that, as well as Thad, if we can keep him. But he’s a good example of the combo forward we’ve needed for a while.

More of the mocks I’m seeing show both Divencenzio and Bates-Diop gone before we pick.

I’m glad to see Musa get a workout. I’m a little interested, especially if we keep Bogie around this year to help Musa acclimate himself to the US and Indy. He does a little bit of everything with good size.

Definitely excited for Musa too. There's a good possibility that he'd drop and still be available by 23 considering how so many guys have been climbing up the mid first round - DiVincenzo, Huerter, Hutchison, Okobo, etc.

He reminds me a lot of a young Brent Barry.

I like Musa as well.

Wideman is a name to keep an eye out for I think though. Might just be doing Butler a favor by giving him a workout, but he fills the Trevor Booker mold. Smart kid, fundamentally strong, but not flashy.

Kelan Martin is worth the 50 to me. I can't see Wideman as worth more than rookie camp tryout for Ants.

The #50 pick looks to be a "take a flyer on a player and see what he can do" sort of thing. If that is the case, then it may as well be him as anyone else. He plays a position at which the team needs depth, can certainly shoot, and seems to have progressed well over his college career. I have no idea how his defense would translate. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

I like the idea of using the two way contract in the second round but to do that we'd probably need to cut or promote one of last year's two ways.

they haven't done that in past years and I assume except perhaps for the after action interviews the sessions are closed to the media. it would almost defeat the purpose of having local workouts if scouts from other teams could view the videos. even the interviews are vanilla. we don't see the closed door interviews with the coaches and decision makers.
