Kawhi pulling a PG

Post#1 » by winter_mute_13 » Sat Jun 16, 2018 4:48 pm

Kawhi's camp has leaked that he wants to be traded.

He has one year left in his deal with SA, after which he'll be a FA in 2019. This gives him some leverage in terms of destination, as teams will not want to risk a big offer if they're not confident on re-signing him.

And of course, LA is top of his list. Kawhi is from LA I think, and he played at San Diego in college.

So, Paul George situation all over again? FWIW I don't believe the Pacers will be involved here, other than as a possible 3rd team to facilitate using cap space. So I guess it's nice to be able to sit back and watch the drama from a distance this time.

No serious now, perhaps San Antonio can pull a VO as well :) It better than losing him for nothing.
