Any news on these two?

Decisions on their respective contracts supposedly coming today.

I believe Collison comes back unless the Pacers took action to waive him before yesterday. If that's right, they didn't have to do anything to keep him on his current contract so they may have felt there was nothing to announce if they didn't waive him.

Al's guarantee date is in January so there was no time pressure there. we do have an open roster spot though and the rush for restricted free agents is a few days off yet.

If you are unhappy that the team has not signed any big name Free Agents let me remind you that we never have. You can't force a guy like LBJ or Chris Paul or who ever to join your team. Maybe you can trade for a big name player but you can't force a team to give you a player. Just look at the LA Fakers they did everything except hold a gun to KP's head over PG and they still didn't get him. Now they are trying the same game on the Spurs with Kahwi.

He isn't upset that the Pacers didn't sign any of the superstars. He is upset that the team didn't sign HIS guy. It is just like his previous ranting about Collison. It wasn't whether he was the worst player in the league, it was that Collison wasn't HIS guy.

So unless a player is one of HIS guys, he can't be any good, right?

I'm really glad to see DC back. He is not flashy, but he is a good fit for this team. He is also just about the perfect tutor for Holiday.

We could try to improve our roster... I wasn't looking for big names... but we could try to take someone like Kemba... but we'll see, maybe KP will make some trade...

You just love Kemba Walker don't you? How do you get him? Offer Leaf and a #1 in 2019? Well we don't have a lot to give them other than that. What does Charlotte want for him? I'm not giving up 2 #1's for a guy with only 1 year left on his deal. Then there is the question, how well does a Kemba Walker work with Victor?

I'm ok with DC myself, I do wish we had not cut Lance and I'm gonna hate seeing him in a Laker Uni. :nonono: :nonono:

He is all star... I would give DC+Leaf+first... Vic cant play alone... we saw how it was against Cavs... we need one more ball dominant player... maybe we have it now with Evans...
