Hope everyone is having a good summer

A lack of much Pacers activity during the off-season has allowed me to focus a little more on some of my other hobbies (sometimes I feel like I'm interested in too many things), not to mention being a bit busy at work, but I've been filling up the time I had been spending on watching the Pacers pretty well. I am excited about the stuff I've seen this off-season, of course, but I'm also pretty okay with having a bit more of a break before seeing how well it all works out on the court. When it's time, I'll be ready, though. For sure.

What's everyone up to? Enjoying the weather? Doing any traveling? Exploring other interests? Is anyone excited for football season or big into any other sports?

I definitely expect to have some more activity around here once the off-season lull has ended. Until then, like I said, hope everyone is having a good summer and doing well.

I've just been doing my normal summertime fare. Things like finding Yellow Jacket nests with my tractor. You know. Fun stuff like that. HA!

I’ve been busy so far this summer.....

This is Michael, our first, and he was born in April. I’ve “retired” from work to stay home with this guy and raise him up as a proper Pacers fan. He’s the best!

I think Scoot has won the prize for the best way to spend a summer!

oh, I can compete with Scoot. I have a great grandson about the same age and he didn't cost me a minute of sleep.

Scoot, are you going to properly prepare him for season after season of being pretty good without any shot at a championship so he can be satisfied or give him hope that the Pacers have a shot so he can ride a roller coaster of optimism and disappointment?

Well, his father went to IU and his namesake, great grandfather, attended Notre Dame for a very short time until WW2 broke out, so disappointment is in his bloodlines....

I'm also late to the party. Hope everyone had a great summer.

My summer is unfortunately over and I've moved back up to school.

Thankfully the NFL starts again this Thursday. I'm pumped for the Luck revenge tour.

colts cuts suggest they don't think this is their year. I'm more pumped about Pacers after reading about their week in Miami.

Great to see all you guys have a great summer. This summer like the last couple, i've unplugged from starring at the internet too much so i try not to go much on twitter or the forum or even fb to be honest, and you'll be amazed how addicted you can be to tweeting or posting/reading posts on here but once you unplug from it for like 4-5 days how hard it is to get back into it and sometimes you realize you don't miss it that much. I've worked a lot but also spend a lot of time at the cottage. I can't complain too much. I just got a email notification from nba.com saying my renewal for league pass is about to go through so i figured it was time to fire up the twitter machine, get back on here and slowly catch up to some of the things i've missed while enjoying the outdoors.
