Game Thread 12/10: Pacers vs. Wizards

Washington is coming off one of its toughest losses of the season, a 116-101 defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Perennial All-Star John Wall was nearly held scoreless during the game, finishing with a career-low one point in the defeat.

"I couldn't move," Wall told the AP after the game, referring to a bone spur in his left heel. "Couldn't run. Probably shouldn't have played."

Despite having suffered a loss to Cleveland, the Wizards appear to be getting their season back on track. A disastrous start pushed the team to the brink, but Washington has collected wins in five of its last eight, and is now just four games under .500.

Wall reportedly out. don't know if that's good or bad. they had a run last Spring when he was out.

I wish Pacers would abandon this "Tyreke as a replacement for Vic" idea, it's obviously not working out like imagined

Start Doug over Tyreke

they cut the lead to 5. we call timeout. terribly drawn offensive possession stalls, tyreke evans airball. Wizards make a 2. Pacers turnover. Wizards fastbreak, foul. 2 free throws made, lead cut to 1. tyreke evans charge, turnover.

nice stretch.

Myles is having maybe his best game of the season, for sure.

We need to continue to involve our starting big(s) like this when Vic comes back

Myles was phenominal. Tyreke was really big in that 3rd quarter run.

Some teams employ a shooting coach, or a defensive coach, or various other specialized coaches. With each game I become more convinced we need a passing coach. Sure, some of the problem is the other teams keep insisting on playing defense (go figure, huh?), but my gosh our passing skills are really lacking at times.

Was great to see Myles have a big game. His work in the defensive paint was epic.
