Failing to record a block for the first time this season while appearing somewhat tentative in his debut as a masked man, Myles Turner’s acclimation to his newest accessory may have just hit another snag. Per Fox Sports Indiana’s Jeremiah Johnson, the 22-year-old shot-blocker is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raptors with right shoulder soreness.
If Turner isn’t good to go against Toronto, Kyle O’Quinn will have to step in at the back-up role. When last pressed into service in Orlando with Sabonis out with food poisoning, the bearded third-string center chipped in a double-double and finished plus-8 in 27 minutes of action.
As for the Raptors, Jonas Valanciunas continues to be out for Toronto, but early indicators are that Kawhi Leonard will be in the lineup for the second night of the back-to-back after playing tonight in Milwaukee.
