no reason not to play everyone. one quarter down and garbage time may have begun.

Late in the 3rd quarter, great hustle all around by the team to keep the possession alive, ended with a turnover by Bogie on some misguided attempt to drive to the basket

He played 28 minutes and shoot 1-10... one more game like that and he can go back to the Ants....

And Bogie shot 2-10 against Mavericks of all teams in 33 minutes, what's your point?

No need for the personal shot at the end.

I'll admit I have not gotten the Sumner/Ike/Alize hype around here. Was rooting for him last night, but he is what he is. I think we see some flashes and they are a bit unknown so it is exciting.

The stage was a little big for him. He clearly was deferring to the veterans. Hope we give him time to get used to the big time. certainly the Warriors were a tough place to start. and don't ignore his defense on Klay. it's not all about offense. anyway, his teammates have confidence in him.

Sumner was not nearly as bad as the stats indicate. The majority of his misses were at the rim and I believe several came out of a single play.

I mean, seriously, give the kid a chance though. He's barely played in the NBA and got thrust into the starting lineup against possibly the best team ever. He played decent defense and showed some things. If you want to be upset about something be upset about his dangerous play on Boogie.

Edit: Mcdermott shot 2/7, Domas shot 3/8, and CoJo shot 2/6 (after going 6/18 the previous 2 games). Plus Sumner had a -15 in 28 minutes, which was better than the non-Thad starters (where no one played more than 28 minutes) so it's not like his presence was particularly hurtful.

The hype is moreso just because there's some potential there for cheap and young depth, which is crucial to a team's success when they won't/can't pay the luxury tax.

I get that I do. I admittedly haven't seen enough of Alize to know. Sumner maybe is a Joe Young type role, maybe. Ike I just don't know. Not being critical, this is how late 2nd rounders should be.

I wouldn't say there's hype at all around here. Simply an interest in knowing what pieces we have. No one's expecting an all-rookie player here, but I think we simply want to know if we should hold roster spots for these developing guys or bid them farewell this summer and churn the bottom end of the roster.

And Ike certainly isn't in that same category as Sumner/Alize. I don't know that anyone on here cares a bit about Ike on the court...

He wasn't knocking Bogie. Just pointed out that if you consider Sumner's career done after one or two games, you might miss a decent player sometimes. Just like Bogie has bad nights on occasion, too.

Hype was maybe the wrong word. I see several depth charts after "moves" are made that include Sumner/Alize/Ike.

He is knocking Bogie in his every post for last three month... why isnt he wright about DC or COJO... every time Bogie... thats very weird... and you are attacking me? Common man, be serious... this isnt about Sumner, this is about his irrational hate of Bogie...
