Game Thread 02/25: Pacers vs. Pistons

While the Pacers are chasing a top-four seed and homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs, the Pistons (28-30) are one of six teams battling for the final three playoff berths in the Eastern Conference. Detroit has started the second half strong, picking up a pair of road wins in Atlanta and Miami to move into seventh place in the East.

The strength of the Pistons is their frontcourt, which features All-Star forward Blake Griffin (25.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game) and center Andre Drummond, who leads the league in rebounding (15.1 per contest). The challenge of containing that duo will be exacerbated if Turner is unable to return to the lineup.

With the schedule coming up, this is a game that the pacers really need to win- mainly to keep the confidence up.

On the flip side, this is an important game for the pistons, as they are trying to hold onto their playoff spot.

Hopefully Myles is feeling 100% and can try to help keep Drummond off the boards.

Well that was a frustrating game. Drummond will always kill our frontline and hard to do anything with the way they were shooting the three.

Nice to see Blake is still the same dirty piece of garbage he always was. No idea how he gets away with those antics and constant whining.

We were good, but they hit to many 3p shoots... we always lose when opponent is hot ... and Myles... he just cant play against stronger centres...

Very hard to beat a team that hits 18 3s, especially on the road. I did like how they fought to the very end. I feel like the next 2 games vs Detroit could be really chippy, which will be fun to watch.

Let's just all hope and pray that Sabonis doesn't miss much time. Guess it gives O'Quinn a chance to prove that he deserves a spot in the rotation.

The Dallas game is going to be another must-win game, because Minnesota is starting to play better and KAT just had a HUGE game last night. Man this is going to be a tough stretch...
