Currently the owners of the worst record in the NBA, the Knicks enter Tuesday's game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse having lost their last six games.
Even with their struggles this season, the Knicks still have some young players who are capable of doing damage.
Rookie Mitchell Robinson has been a shot blocking machine this year, trailing only Myles Turner and Anthony Davis with an average of 2.41 rejections per game.

Ties us up against Philly, but of course after that loss they own the tiebreaker.

They will have 5-6 wins more... we play agaisnt Okc, Portland, Denver, GSW, Clippers, Boston... we can be happy if Nets dont catch us...

Tough stretch coming up, no doubt.

Really tough stretch coming up. But seriously doubt the Nets catch us. 14 games left to play and we have a 7.5 game lead. Also, will own the tiebreaker over them so that is really an 8.5 game lead.
If Brooklyn goes 13-0 in their last 13 games. Impossible because I think their schedule may be as tough if not tougher than ours. Then the Pacers would only have to go 6-8 to finish to finish ahead of the Nets. The Nets simply can't catch us. Damn near impossible.

With this stretch coming up, it's looking more likely that we end at the 5 seed. 4 would obviously be great because of home court advantage. Assuming we do end at the 4/5 spot, would you rather play Philly or Boston Round 1?

Boston I think.

Magic number with Nets is 6. any combination of 6 Pacer wins and Net losses and we finish no worse than tied with them.
formula: 82 - (Pacer wins (43) + Nets losses(33)) or 82 - 76 = 6
if we didn't own the tiebreaker the 82 would change to 83.
