On top of being held scoreless for nearly seven minutes as the Oklahoma City Thunder rattled off the most consecutive unanswered points scored by a team this season, the Pacers are currently on the wrong side of another lopsided run:

They’ve lost nine straight road games and 7 of 10 overall with the three wins all coming at home against teams with rest disadvantages. (The Knicks were playing their third game in four days as a team that had already been mathematically eliminated from the postseason. Oklahoma City was on the second night of a back-to-back set, and the Nuggets were playing their final game of a four-game opposite coast road trip and their third game in four nights.)

With both teams from each match-up being on the same schedule in the playoffs, catching opponents when they’re tired is about to no longer be an option — especially since the Celtics have been banking rest while the Pacers have prioritized the 4-seed over load management.

Someone please tell me why does Young continue to shoot 3's when he's complete garbage at them? Also, why did the idiot coach take out Leaf in the 1st. place. and please Joseph foul out already. I hate seeing that scrub contributing absolutely nothing to this team.

I too hate seeing Young. shoot 3s. he made some big hustle plays down the stretch but he's got to be hating missing that layup.

With about 35 seconds left, we had the ball and Nate called a timeout. After the timeout, Collison proceeded to dribble the ball for about 10-12 seconds and then take a semi contested 15 foot jump shot. It was not a terrible shot but I am wondering why we didn’t run a play for Bogey. He has been our best offensive player since Vic’s injury and he was playing well last night. I think we should have set some screens so he could have a catch and shoot opportunity. We should be running Reggie plays for him.

The next question I have is on Boston’s last possession. Why was Matthews guarding Kyrie? I would have put CoJo on him, CoJo is quicker and would have a better chance of keeping up with him.

Finally, why did Turner drop off of Kyrie. It looked to me like the double team had him in a position where he either to to take a tough shot or make a tough pass. Everyone in the building knew Kyrie was the guy they were going to, we should have forced the ball out of his hands and make someone else beat us.

Overall I liked our hustle and resiliency. I think the playoffs with Boston should be quite entertaining.

there is a article on theathletic saying Boston's strategy is to go big against us with Baynes and Horford together. seems like the easy counter is to sit Young for Sabonis.
