Dennis Schroder?

Just read where Oklahoma is looking to shed salary and might be willing to trade Schroder and their #1 pick to do so. Am I reading that right? If so, I wonder what they'd want from the Pacers? Seems to good to be true. I don't love Schroder but he's an upgrade over our PG's last year and is only signed for 2 years. Would give Aaron Holiday time to develop as well. Thoughts?

He's a downgrade on court. He's not a great defensive PG, he's a poor shooter, though he loves shooting, and he's still a tough locker room guy. He's really one of those "terrible contracts" kind of guys, on his $15.5m contract for each of the two years. He also demanded a trade out of Atlanta because he didn't want a young PG coming up on his heels, so I don't think he'd do well with Holiday.

Count me as a NO vote. Every player should be confident, but he strikes me as thinking way too much of himself.

I love reclamation projects as much as the next guy, but at *that* contract - well, I don't think OKC's pick is enough to compensate.
I'd consider Roberson though, if he's healthy anyway. I'm not up to date on his status. Very good defender on reasonable contract, but his lack of offense hurts.
Adams is even more intriguing, I'm surprised to hear he's even available, but I guess it has to do with his contract. A very good big, but we already have a center logjam so it's not clear to me how he could work out here.
