yeah, I saw that Aaron, Sumner, and Alize are playing for sure. They were unsure of Goga since he just wrapped up his professional season.

An article in the last couple weeks said TJ Leaf would not be participating in summer league.

The notorious Brian Bowen is interesting here.

I don't know but at some point it has to be demoralizing for an established player having to participate. I hope the Pacers hold Leaf out.

I don’t know that there’s a set limit, but at a certain point, it’s really a tough conversation and tough look with an agent and player.

I'm 99% certain that Leaf is ineligible because this would be his third year. I think players are only allowed two years in summer league.

As for Goga, i also don't think he will play. Summer league is more for college players and he has already played against men in Europe so there really isn't the need. Not to compare the two but Doncic did not play last season for Dallas for the same reason.

I think they absolutely will play the 19 year old rookie.

I took Leaf off. I always thought it was my understanding that SL players consisted of free agents, rookies and any player with 0-3 years experience at their current team's discretion.

It could be that the Pacers and Leaf himself/agent determined he's enough SL exposure and are keeping him out. I'll update if I find out anything new.

I hope so. I won't lie to you and say if he plays it'll give me a reason to watch because truth is i always watch anyways, but it will definitely add some excitement if he plays.

I hope that Goga plays. I don't think that Georgia participates in an international competition this summer so he should be able to play but I could be wrong. He has definitely played against better competition over here so he doesn't need the SL to prove himself but I'd like to see him live.

There’s no age or experience limit. He can’t be forced to play though, but if he wanted to, he could.

As for Goga, he also had his season run late in Europe so he may get a little time off to rest and recover.

Even before seeing this i knew you were right. I saw today Jimmer Fredette was added to the GSW summer league team.

Also, Super Reggie did such a nice job on this thread with schedule and updating the roster i made it sticky so it doesn't get lost in all the other topics.

Agreed on Super Reggie. It always blows me away how everybody kind of has their thing they love and takes care of it here in this community, like draft guys, or summer league guys, or game thread peeps. Love it.

Thanks everyone! For some reason, I really enjoy diving into the Summer League. I'm a teacher and have more time in the summer to do things like this. I still follow the threads during the season, but I don't usually have time to post.

Kudos to everyone else on this board for contributing their time/energy/and thoughts into the Pacers forum. I know it's not easy to find time, but all of you are appreciated for showing love to the the greatest team in the NBA.

Looking forward to the upcoming season with everyone!

GUess that means we’re not making a 2 way qualifying offer on Davon Reed to keep him restricted. That means another 2 way spot is open for next year.
