McConnell could be waived economically to create a spot. in fact, if we make the playoffs, we'll need to do that just to create a spot for our draft choice unless we Euro stash or Alize doesn't earn a spot or we renegotiate with Milwaukee.

Reports are McConnell's deal is guaranteed, so waiving him wouldn't help, unless you want to stretch waive him which then goes into Vic Oladipo's pay raise years.
We also won't need a spot for our draft choice as it's going to Milwaukee. If you mean a 2nd? Maybe we sell it again? Or, it's our 15th spot next year.
