Here's to hoping we don't come out with another stinker of a performance.

Another big loss. Doesn't have to mean much, but it would be nice to see the Pacers players turn it around in the next couple of games and others getting healthy and their visum. I think it will happen

The team is literally missing a center. I don't know if it affects the overall team confidence knowing we have no one to defend the paint. They look like they don't want to play.
And Holiday's passes were wild.

I missed the 2nd and 3rd quarters cooking dinner for the family, but the 1st and 4th we’re just painful to watch.

Didn't get to watch this one, but looks like I should be glad.
One thing to remember with Summer League is that it really tells us almost nothing. Plenty of guys look great there (Plumlee did for us before we traded him) and only there. I'd expect Holiday to look a lot better as a complementary player.

I'm more worried that there's not really anyone looking more than usable at all. Bowen looks deserving of the two way. Holiday and Alize are safe on the roster, though not flashing well. Sumner's foot is clearly hurt and bothering him a lot. After that, I'm not sure who's looking usable. Akoon-Purcell looked ok yesterday.

IF this without Holiday is the Ft. Wayne roster......yikes. Heck even if they had Holiday, yikes.
Really tough to figure anything out about Holiday. Could this team be decent if Holiday were a more competent pg? Or with this group would any pg look bad?
Bowen appears to have nice length and a nice looking shot. But, I"m not sure he would start for Purdue or Butler.

I think he would. He's a smart, heady player. More in the style of a Scott Martin than a Robbie Hummel, if you will? I think the overseas time did him good playing against strong vets and having to earn his keep. I don't have the highest hopes for him, but he's flashed enough for me, and he's one of the only guys that is playing within his game and not trying to overdo it and FLASH to make an impression. A guy knowing his spot and focusing on that has value in my eyes.

I missed the Pistons game but watched todays game vs the Hawks. I know this isn't the right thread for it, but that game doesn't deserve it's own thread. Pretty sure this is the worst summer league team ever assembled. Good god they are awful.
