Rotation?

Now that we have gotten a better idea of what the roster is gonna look like for next season, and that we plan to start Turner and Sabonis together, what do you think the rotation looks like?

Keep in mind that we will need to adjust once Oladipo comes back, and we will need one before and after that. Do we give backup 5 minutes to Goga or Sabonis? Do we start Warren or bring him off the bench as a gunner? Lamb at the starting two until Oladipo gets back? Any regular minutes for Leaf?

Come to think of it, it's strange how after signing two point guards in free agency, the Pacers still don't have a starting point guard to begin season with

Brogdon may fit well with Vic once he returns, since Vic will be the primary creator, allowing Brogdon to play off the ball

But with Vic out, the primary ball handler in the back court looks to be either be Brogdon or Lamb, but neither Brogdon nor Lamb are great at that role?

McConnell Brogdon Holiday
Brogdon, Lamb Sumner
Lamb Mcdermot Warren
Sabonis Warren Leaf Johnson
Turner Sabonis Goga Leaf

7 man rotation. We know McMillan likes short rotations. When Dipo returns. McConnell goes to the bench and we have a 8 man rotation. Goga, Leaf, Holiday, Johnson and Sumner will not get many minutes.

This is a big year for Sumner. Which is why he’s committed to staying in Indy most of the summer and working with staff. But it’s not a good sign that he’s already off to a bad start. Pacers are risking double with him if they don’t add anyone else because not only do we not if he’s good enough but we don’t even know if he can remain healthy. Huge ifs.

7 man is way to short in the grind of an 82 game schedule. Not feasible.

More like:

Brogdon/Holiday/McConnell
Lamb/Brogdon
Warren/Dougie
Sabonis/Warren/Leaf
Turner/Sabonis/Goga
