Here goes!

TJ Leaf starting tonight in place of Myles Turner. Still no Sumner.

Sumner broke his hand. He'll be re-evaluated in 3 weeks.

I've been saying what Leaf really needs is battle testing. So here it goes.

I also saw a clip where Nate mentioned that Jakarr may get in the game.

We really need Goga to able to give us at least 12 decent minutes so Sabonis can get some rest.

We’re gonna have anywhere from 24-50 minutes of play to fill at the 4/5 spots tonight, depending on how Leaf responds. Definitely a chance for a lot of minutes for either Sampson/Alize or some Wong’s playing at the 4.

I'm going to the game so I guess I'll see soon enough, but I'd start Leaf at the 5 and let Damos play the 4 as if he were paired with Myles. I think Sampson and Alize are more likely to get minutes at the 4 than Warren although I'll admit I didn't watch all of the Nets game so I don't know if Warren or McDermott was the 4 when we went small.

It looked to me like McDermott was playing the 4.

I like your confidence in Domas that he can defend Love this time :D

But I prefer Leaf at the 4, even when it is odd to start a player who DNP the previous game.

I dislike Nate's confidence in Leaf. We all know he is struggling, but at least show some confidence in him for a couple of weeks.

Confidence or lack of confidence is infectious. To players and to fans. Giving confidence is part of his job and every player can have 33 bad minutes or 1 bad game in other words.

Props to Leaf if he can start without doubts now at his young age, but indirectly Nate put more pressure on him for tonight.

I hate those fouls that the official waits to see if it goes in before they decide to call a foul. It it wasn't a foul if the shot went in, it's not a foul if it didn't.

Definitely glad to see us show some fight and get the win. I'm still pretty worried that offense that looks like that will 100% not work once we face good defensive teams or into the postseason.

Domas and Malcolm playing like Allstars, against lottery teams.

Goga al ready finishing games.

Him and Lamb making a big difference so their absence in the first games really hurt us.

Chemistry and effort have improved, but so have fit and BBIQ. Goga al ready doing things as a rookie which some vets need years for.

Good win. Domas' post up game is money. Once he establishes himelf in the post, Cavs cannot do anything to contain him. They hope Domas would pass the ball but if he doesn't, it's a real problem for them.

Warren is still not making shots. Lamb, to me, is the unsung hero of the game. He and Brogdon are jiving well in the backcourt.

Leaf has regressed, IMO. Wild shots everywhere. I'd rather see more Sampson at the 4, at least he's got the energy to hustle.

McConnell is so smart with the ball. Puts players in position to score. Justin Holiday was good defensively.

Goga's confidence could only grow from here, the team believes in him. He misses two 3-point attempts but still had the green light to try for it, hence making one. It's almost trial by fire but Goga responded well.

Did not manage to watch this game, so when I checked the box score I was surprised to see Leaf only played 8 minutes despite starting - was he that terrible in the game?

I thought that they're finally going to give him a chance by letting him start, but apparently he's still on a very short leash - I wish they'd give him more playing time, rather than playing Justin or Doug at PF

Lol Leaf. This guy gets too much run because of draft position, I would really like to see Sumner get a shot because I think he's a way more intriguing prospect.

Weirdly Pacers have been hitting way better on second rounders than first rounders recently IMO.

Don't think at his age he offers more than Jakarr or Alize.

Without Sumner, Cavs guards were much faster than ours. We looked slow.
