How many more injuries until we have Brian Bowen in the starting lineup?

Referee: "Here, have two bonus free points, right before the halftime buzzer"

Justin Holiday: "Nah, I'm good, thanks"

Yeah, now this is interesting... cutting out Leaf in favor of Alize?

I like this move more than giving his minutes to Justin Holiday or Sampson. Its time to see what Alize can do.

Sorry Leaf, but fouling out in 14 minutes (?) against the Charlotte Hornets isn't acceptable.

I think it is becoming apparent that the club sees Leaf as a 5. Dom and Goga got those minutes last night. I think Sampson has done well at the 4. So if Alize played whos minutes did you want Leaf to get?

Oh, I don't disagree with either assertion. Just a sigh because he's so all over the board and seems to have regressed after the summer. I did assert all summer that Leaf's best spot appears to be as a "mobile, undersized, scoring 5". He's too slow for the 4 overall, but he's quick for a 5 in most cases.

Agreed. I think Alize and Leaf are clearly in competition for minutes, as well as Goga and Leaf at the 5, and even Alize and Sampson at the 4. I really don't mind some spot minutes for Justin Holiday as a 3rd wing at the 4 (or I guess the situational Dougie or Warren at the 4), but I'd really rather that be when Oladipo comes back and it's more a situation of finding guys minutes, rather than not allowing Alize, Leaf, Goga, etc, the chances to truly compete and develop.

And yes. Leaf is most responsible for the lack of minutes. He had a HUGE game against Chicago, and then followed it up with a huge clunker against Charlotte that hurt the team tremendously. I'm not writing him off completely, but man, he's really got to step up his consistency this year. He played well the 2nd half of last year, so there's a chance, but he's got to earn it.

We've been hard on him at times on this board, me included. How about a shout out to McBuckets. Looked great last night.

Right? This was the prime Kyle Korver like night that I always hoped for since the day we signed him. 19/7/4 off the bench on 6/10 overall shooting, 4/6 from 3, and 3/3 from the line? Amen. Awesome.

Goga concussed so we may see Leaf if Turner can't go tomorrow.

Sent from my phone.
