The Gods have favored us big time when they gave us 11 games against bottom half teams to start the season.
Plenty of time to gel all our new players and to hide our holes with so many injured players. This game is the first big test.

If they can keep it close deep into the 4th, I will be a happy man. Goga is great but he doesn't have the (defensive) experience of Turner. At least we can replace our starting center with another quality player, they will miss Capela much more than we miss Turner.

Yeah, it's getting ridiculous. Did we were ever think we have too many guards? The Pacers are down to 3 rotation guards (McConnell and the Holidays) and really Justin's more of a SF. Especially bad timing with a b2b coming up, and TBH I was looking forward to Brogdon's revenge game against the Bucks, so that's unfortunate too.

I guess the 2-way guys might see some run, but it doesn't look like Nate has much confidence in them so far.

Well the silver lining is, despite that A. Pacers were missing like half the team, and B. Harden had a huge game, the game was winnable right down till the final minute

It also took a great game from Tyson Chandler to help them seal their win - his numbers won't reflect it in the box score, but Tyson Chandler was huge for them; he gave Domas trouble whenever he was guarding him, and when he was out, McConnell was attacking the rim at will

Speaking of McConnell, I feel that the second unit did quite well this game; McConnell, Doug, and Leaf did reasonably well, and they started a rally in the second half after the team was down at halftime - particularly McConnell, he had me looking up his contract during the game, to see whether the team locked him up long term or not

Well, I suppose that's another small positive we can get out of all these injuries; it's allowing McConnell to shine, it's allowing Goga to get experience, it's allowing Aaron and Leaf an opportunity to play, etc - it's highly probable that they all might have gotten buried at the end of the bench otherwise
