Our schedule is starting to get harder... we gotta step it up.

What's up Myles Turner? He's on my fantasy team and I've been extremely disappointed with his offensive output thus far

I've feel like I've been saying this for years now. Turner is a big man version of a 3 and D guy. He can defend. He can shoot, but he can't consistently create his own shot. There is a huge fan narrative out there saying "he just needs to be more aggressive" that I think misses the mark completely.

He put some work the last year or two into being a better rebounder and more physical inside that, when I've seen him this year, seems to have slid back a bit, and there's definitely some warranted criticism there, but he was never a dirty work Thad Young or a Sabonis type where if he just ends up with the ball somewhere around the basket he can turn it into a bucket. And he isn't like Kristaps Porzingis in that he demands the ball and shoots a lot of shots on bad efficiency. Almost all of Turner's shots are gonna come within the flow of the offense.

Mental issues.

Sabonis has taken another step forward and many stats seem to indicate Domas plays significantly better when playing center.
Coach has no other choice but to split most center minutes between Turner and Sabonis and limit Domas at the 4 minutes.
In other words, Domas is the better player and to unleash him fully he needs center minutes (Myles minutes).

He was claiming DPOY last season, but players like Embiid and Drummond have career games against him this season.
Internet critics probably threw that in his face on twitter, so he deleted his account.
Not respectful of the critics but not smart of Turner either.

He just needs a reality check and be cool with it. He is a 3 and S (shotblocker) guy and Sabonis is a better center right now.
He is the most likely player to be on the trade block of the 2, but he has to use that to motivate himself to become a better player and not like this, where he thinks himself down. He needs to think his way back up and he can, just like PG was never clutch on the Pacers, but now he is and I am extremely happy about that. Everybody deserves to be the best version of themselves.
