AD is out. Win would still really be a surprise. Don't expect a blowout for us like last year.
Standings are tight with only a game and a half from 2 to 6.

Not having to play against AD feels like a cop-out, but still, I love that we're coming out and playing with confidence.

Our offensive execution has been shockingly excellent so far this 4th quarter.

Signature win. We're still 6th but only a game from 2nd. Philly plays Miami tomorrow so one will lose. Detroit could help us by beating Toronto.

I always love it when we beat LBJ. But with 3 loses to Detroit, 1 to Cleveland, and Charlotto I'm not real over confident. We need to get Victor back then we can see how good we are.

Nice game, and it's great to see the team get the win, obviously
But let's take a step back and look at the bigger picture
AD was out, so the team was basically up against a 35 year old LeBron James plus spare parts
LeBron James noticeably ran out of juice in the second half as well
I feel like we should have beaten them by 10 points, but instead we let Javale McGee and Dwight Howard push us around

Even with an older Lebron, the Lakers are still a good team. Wouldn't have wanted to play them with a healthy AD, but it's a good win regardless.

AD being out obviously makes a difference. I am not comparing Vic to AD because that would be silly, but I think sometimes we all forget we are playing without our best player too. With or without AD it is still a damn good win. Beat a team that is 24-3. So I don't care if it was by 10 or by 3. Good win. No need for a parade, but a damn good basketball win.

Amen to that! Also, although he is not an all-star or such, the Pacers had to play without Lamb due to his groin injury.
While on that subject, has the team said how long he might be out?
I'll add this. Since I complained when Myles was not playing well or producing much, it is only right to say his play these last few games has been much improved. Glad to see that and hope he keeps it going.

I haven't seen anything on Lamb yet. Imagine it is getting evaluated today. Maybe its just me but they seem to release injury stuff in the afternoons. No game until Friday so maybe won't get an update until tomorrow. I typed a bunch of words and realize I basically said I don't know. Lol

Lamb is questionable for Friday's game. So thankfully it wasn't too serious of a pull. I was worried it was going to be a couple of weeks.
TJ Warren also showed up as questionable with an illness. Could be quite shorthanded on the wing tomorrow.

Short handed is an interesting way to put it. Summer will play and Justin Holiday will play the 3 instead of the 4. We’ll likely see more of the backup bigs (Goga, Leaf, Sampson, if healthy).

Would being down 2 regular starters not be considered short handed?

I guess. But we still have other wings that we either have started, or other teams would start in the same instance. We're not going to be lacking playable guys there is what I found funny. Sorry, yo.

Now I catch what you are throwing. My bad. Agree lots of depth on this club. I'll try and stand up taller so your next post doesn't go over my head.

Haha! No worries. Yeah, To me it’s missing some guys, but not short handed in that we’re still pretty well fully “staffed”, if you know what I mean?
