Game Thread 8 - vs Miami Heat

I’m not going to take any huge swings of thoughts on this game because both teams are resting pretty much everybody.

BUT....

Sumner is an impressive passer and looks ready for the rotation next year.
Alize looks like someone we should keep on the Sumner track and that he can really contribute long term.
Goga is starting to pick the game up at a faster rate. I’d love to swap Lamb/Leaf for Thad and put Thad next to Goga in the locker room, on the bench, and on the court to help him develop.
I’d love to keep Jakarr. He’s just a likable player and a hard worker.
I’d love to keep Justin long term. If we could use the MLE to keep him long term, I would. I’d be happy to have an extra wing than an extra big.

Pacers win, but the only take away is the terrible news that Miami Heat player Derrick Jones Jr went down hard after colliding with Goga on a screen and ultimately was taken off the court on a back brace and gurney. Terrible news and terrible sight to see on a rather meaningless game. Prayers up for him, especially as he heads into his first unrestricted free agency.
