Good first quarter but the second fell apart. TJ came in and immediately missed a layup and things went downhill from there.

A smiling Sampson plays much better than a frowning Sampson.

Really good to see Sumner make good use of his playing time
But what happened to Aaron? I see that he only played 2 minutes?

Brogdon, LeVert, and lately Sumner starting then add McConnell relieving him has buried Aaron's minutes plus for some reason Aaron quit shooting the 3 pointer that he was draining consistently. Just not getting the nod from the coaches I reckon.

Also with all the bigs out Aaron's size is an issue.

I see
I guess it's just the roster being too crowded. Aaron is really being wasted if they continue to bury him like this
To me, it's a mistake playing TJ 20 minutes over Aaron. I understand that Bjorkgren loves TJ, and TJ has been playing well, but he's very likely gone this offseason, unless Pacers are willing to beat whatever offer he's going to get
Also, the priority now should be developing talent. not scrapping for wins, in order to what, claw their way to the 8th seed? So that's another reason to at least balance the playing time between TJ and Aaron

How much more do you think Aaron is capable of improving? He is in his third year and, frankly, I don't expect much more out of him.
Part two is TJ gets the other guys more involved in the offense, which helps their development. Aaron doesn't do that. I'm not saying Aaron is selfish or anything like that. He just doesn't affect the play of the others in the ways TJ does.

I think we are, and I think we'd be willing to lose Doug to keep TJ. and if the draft gives us a point guard or a combo-guard, I don't see a place for Aaron.

Someone compared him to Fred VanVleet a while back, and I think that's s a great comparison, I see Aaron as capable of developing into that type of player
His first and second year numbers compare quite well to the FVV's numbers. Main difference is FVV continued to improve in his third year, while Aaron struggled

I'm sure that Pritchard will be looking to stir up the roster this off season. I envision McDermott and McConnell being Pacers along with LeVert, Brogdon, Sumner, Goga, Brissett, and Stanley. As for Turner, Sabonis, J. Holiday, Warren, Lamb, Martin, A. Holiday, and Sampson I think they are the questionable ones to return unless there is no trade suiters to free up capital to keep Doug and T.J. and the Pacers decide to let both of them walk and look for cheaper replacements.
As for Aaron I think he's grown this year a little bit and I really think he has the talent to be a late bloomer in the league. I just don't know that it will be here the way Sumner has blossomed. To be fair Sumner was drafted a year before Aaron so next year might be Aaron's breakout year ?
