UNTOLD: Malice at the Palace
Looking forward to watching it.
Don't expect a lot though, I feel like this story has been told many times, or at least there is a lot of information out there about it.

My understanding of this is that it's a series, but each episode is a different topic so this is it for the Malice and the Palace and the Pacers. I enjoyed it and learned a few things, but it felt kind of slapdash and incomplete. I'd say it's definitely worth an hour for a Pacer fan, but it's not really groundbreaking or anything. It seemed like it whet your appetite more than provided a whole meal.

I'm not sure I wanna watch. My interest in basketball had waned since about 2000, but thr Malice really capped it off. I didn't start paying attention again for years.

For me it was a reminder of how:
Donnie Walsh got too close to the flame, assembled too many volatile personalities.
Arrest, just plain crazy
Jackson and Tinsley, just plain thugs
Jermaine, was just at the wrong place at the wrong time
David Stern screwed Pacer fans at home watching. While at the same time rewarded the Piston team and organization by taking us out. The biggest culprit in this fiasco was Detroit.
No security
Allowed the worst element of its fan base to get access to too much alcohol
They were rewarded with a clear path to the EC championship and Ultimately the NBA championship.
Our guys were not as innocent as the Duke Lacrosse team, but the media frenzy and rush to judgement was very similar.

I used to blame a Detroit fan for creating all of this, but what happened, happened and our players weren't strong enough that time.
Look at the bright side, we still have to experience our first NBA championship and the first time is often the most fun time, we are blessed
