There is no link on Pacers.com that says it is the press conference from yesterday but if you click on the story entitled Bells Ring it begins with a short video from practice but continues with press conference videos of Carlisle, Pritchard, and the key players.

First preseason game 7:30 this Tuesday at New York. Looking at the box score of Lakers vs Nets mostly subs and camp bodies played.

Chuck Daly used to say "Nobody looks bad in a blue suit". Even though that was pretty much true, Bruce Pearl probably preferred black suits that did a better job of hiding his excessive sweating. Man oh man, I would have hated being his dry cleaner.

Anyway, it seems to me, the more comfortable a person is, the easier for them to concentrate on the task at hand. So, I have to say this is a good move.

So far Brogdon looks bad. Turner, Sabonis, and Holiday look good. No Indy subs yet.

Lamb getting worked by Fournier and fouls him on a three pointer. Brogdon passes so far are horrible causing turnovers by teammates or alone.

I have it on Xfinity on a league pass channel that must be on a free preview.

First subs for Pacers were Duarte, McConnell, and Jackson. Out Brogdon, Lamb, and Holiday. Craig in next for Turner. Knicks 36-26 end of 1.

Lamb, good. Jackson, good. Duarte, GOOD

Also good to see Myles being less hesitant on offense. It's only taken him 7 years, but at least he's getting there now

Of course it’s a preseason contest but Pacers offense looked bad because Brogdon was having trouble getting it set up, bad passes, and bad shooting 2-9. Lamb bad defense, bad shot selection 2-7, good rebounding. Justin Holiday was stroking it tonight in his limited time. Turner, and Sabonis, and McConnell did ok. Craig Idk not much to see tonight. Jackson and Duarte got some experience playing against starters for the Knicks looking good at times for rookies. Rest of team pretty weak showing they really need LeVert and Warren back ASAP. I’m really miffed that NY Knicks took this game seriously getting a lot of first unit continuity and the Pacers looked out of sorts. I’m really thinking Rick needs to get the first unit running/ learning his offense quickly and playing more minutes together as the Knicks did. If not it’s going to be a rough start to the season with a pretty tough schedule.

Caitlin Cooper pointed out on Twitter that she thought it looked like Indy had basically not installed any of the offense yet, based on the simplicity and repetition of it being run. I wouldn't worry too much about Brogdon having trouble getting it set up, as there likely isn't anything yet setup.

In other news tonight’s showcase of our lack of talent at the end of the bench makes me have to wonder why the Pacers don’t have as much talent as these stat lines. :(

Aaron Holiday 17 pts. on 5-10 shooting, 1 rebound, 3 assists in 19 minutes

K Martin 6 points on 2-6 shooting, 2 rebounds, 2 assists in 15 minutes

Alize Johnson 8 points on 3-4 shooting, 11 rebounds, 3 assists on 17 minutes

Brissett 8 points on 3-9 shooting, 2 rebounds, 0 assists, 5 fouls in 16 minutes

No Aaron, McDermott, and Sumner someone’s gonna have to step up this year

Aaron Holiday is a good player

Like many Pacer rookies, the team just did not manage to find a role for him

he was given every chance to become the first guard off the bench and McConnell outplayed him.
