Good first half with better defense. Great to see Jeremy Lamb get hot. Also great to see Carlisle use his bench and Oshae provided some good minutes for starters to rest.

Jackson, not Goga, comes in for final seconds to prevent more fouls on Turbonis.

Re: Game 3 vs Miami 7pm
oshae showed Carlisle he belongs. Duarte had some shooting woes which I attribute to tired legs not being used to so many minutes back to back.

Is Turner hurt? Why did he only get 16 minutes?

Brogdon was 5-19 as well
Goga couldn't get minutes even with Myles being in foul trouble

Re: Game 3 vs Miami 7pm
Wonder why no Brissett until this game?
With minutes he looked like the guy we saw last year. Watching him last year I thought he looked like a guy who could be our answer at the 4. Granted he didn’t look very good in Summer League games or Pre Season. Looks like he needs get his points from spot up threes and cuts to the basket. On defense just stay solid. There is a place in the League and on this team for a guy like this. Maybe even in the starting lineup?

He played almost 8 minutes n the Washington game, and rather poorly.
My gut instinct is that he could turn out to be on the Justin Holiday tier of player at the 4, which isn’t a bad thing, at all. He’s still young, and will have some development pains as he plays, but we will need him to develop, for sure.

Re: Game 3 vs Miami 7pm
I remain convinced that Goga will be a good nba player. Hopefully he finds his stroke and Carlisle finds a role for him.
I also assume Carlisle had some input on the draft picks this year. He has a reputation for not playing rookies much. But maybe if we can get him rookies with experience and skillset that he is confident in it will lead to some playing time for then.

Re: Game 3 vs Miami 7pm
Carlisle said post game that he made a mistake not playing Brissett against Charlotte. we may have underestimated the time it will take the new coaches to learn what we have.

This team really needs a guy with size and length who can step in when when the Turner/Sabonis combination isn’t working (which I suspect will be often). A Justin Holiday skill set in Oshae’s body would work great. It would seem Pacers would have a strong incentive to develop this guy.

Yeah, him too. Next year at this time would be nice if we have eliminated the need for the Sabonis/Turner combination.

If Myles continues to rise offensively like he did the other day, we got to keep him.
