Good start against a pretty good team

Pacers playing well with great balance from the starters. Chicago not having Vucevic helps immensely.

Only criticism I have so far is that the coaches need to impress upon Duarte to move more and pass quicker when he’s guarded at the top of the 3 point arc as he’s a bit hesitant to give it up out there. More than willing to drop it off to the bigs when he’s penetrated. It will come in time hopefully.

I needed to see this win. I was getting down about this team for a minute.

Duarte's shots looked shorter than usual too. He clearly doesn't have the lift and full rotation in it. I would typically say that if he's playing then there shouldn't be any worries, but not after the last few years.

What is with this team and injuries

Duarte is clearly playing through injury and that’s not wise on the Pacers behalf. Of course he’s feeling young and invincible and like he’s expected to go being a rookie. I wish they’d shut him down to get him healthy and stronger so he can begin again stroking those 3’s.
