Based on the quotes preseason that the Pacers are 90-95% vaccinated, that would’ve been 1-2 out of the 20 were unvaccinated. Now, Justin is one. It’s possible there’s another one, or maybe not.

This also means that, due to recent statements from Toronto or Canadian officials (can’t remember which), Justin will be unable to enter Toronto for the March 26th game against the Raptors.

I found this interesting. The double big lineup is working.

It doesn't hurt that they are either the two most talented players, or maybe two of the three most talented players the team has.

The game tonight will be an interesting test for the two center lineup.

Fair or not it's not a good idea to make that "star" statement right after saying we're open for business and Myles saying he's not fully appreciated.

It's true that we need a top 15 guy. It's a bad quote though and fuels the fire unnecessarily. Also may not help trade negotiations.

Yes it was a foot in mouth moment benefiting nobody except the reporter.

If you’re a Jake Fischer believer. He’s had some hits,a new some misses the last year or so. But he’s putting out volume.

Simon being "happy with the team as constituted" is worse news than the losses themselves. How in the world could anyone be happy with the way this team is put together? That is really dis-heartening, but honestly not a surprise.

To me this wreaks of damage control to put that nice picture back in everyone’s mind that everything is hunky dory. I’m not buying this garbage. He’s trying to cover for Carlisle and Pritchard’s media negatives floating around the organization and nba world.

The Star has a story on the interview but it's Subscriber' only

EDIT: it's a Doyle piece basically disagreeing with Simon. I'm with Herb.

I’m waiting for the other local writers to get their stories out. Doyel’s is clearly written solely from the angle he wanted to pursue, not the actual conversation. Though, I’m not anticipating It to make Simin come off in a great light.

Sorry didn’t like Kravitz, Doyle, or the star. Only good thing they had was pretty good high school basketball scores, sports box scores, IU coverage, Robin Miller, and Colts coverage.

I agree with one exception. I never liked Robin Miller either.

Now that I think of it, their last writer I enjoyed might have been Bob Collins. That's a long time ago.

Scott Aggnes has an email out. He did say he thought Herb was overstating the ability to sign free agents but his tone wasn't snarky.

It was Collins who wrote of the city game and the country game. As regulars here know, I want the Pacers to play the country game which doesn't require supermax players. For those too young to know what I mean, think the Butler Way or IU under Knight.

Matt Moore (@hpbasketball), put this out today.

Here’s the link
https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/nba-trade-intel-league-sources-on-trade-season-expectations

And the quote
Kevin O’Connor of the Ringer reported that Domantas Sabonis wants out of Indiana. That’s what I was told by multiple league sources as well, and that it wasn’t just this season, but instead going back to last year Sabonis was looking for a change of scenery.

However, Scott Agness who covers the Pacers and is plugged in refuted that sentiment.

I'm fairly confidant that Pritchard will have a quiet talk with Damos to see if we have another PG situation.

Or maybe they already spoke, and that was part of what led to the "receptive to trade talks" reporting?
