Certainly doesn’t help. 2nd night of a back to back. In this kind of season we probably get the effort necessary for NBA level defense maybe one out of three or four games? Doubt if planting the idea that essentially everyone is on the trading block helps effort much. I wish they would just execute the Levert and Turner trades. Get some trade capital for Craig and Holiday, shut down Brogdan and Sabonis. Watch the young guys and improve the odds of a high draft pick.

U can dream on about carlisle playing the young guys or benching vets. For good or worse he willplay best team every game, every season, til 30 sec keft no matter if u are down 30 points

You can add that Goga didn't play and Jackson only got 18 minutes despite having three blocks and shooting pretty well. I'm not sure why in either case. Did Goga get injured again?
Also, I think when those guys are out, it exposes more about how bad some of the other guys really are on defense. Then you have what 8305 said about the trade talk having an effect on some of them. That doesn't help either.

Many of our "older" (veteran is likely a better word) players are injured. Sure Sabonis played, but Brogdon, Turner and TJM are injured. I guess you would have to count Lamb and Lance as veterans.
