Hope they are not rushing Bitadze back (before he is physically ready) because of Jackson's injury.

Justin Holiday hasn't been very good this season, and I think a big part of that is him being pushed into a starter role for most of the games he played this year

He's not terrible as a starter, but he's just much better being a player off the bench. I think he was best during his first season with the team, and it's probably no coincident that he was mainly a backup at that time

What a waste

He’s playing pretty good defense, though he’s overmatched usually at the SF position. He’s shooting 38% on almost 7 3 point attempts per night. He and Sabonis have paired to statistically be the best off ball pairing in basketball this year

Is he ideally your starter? Nope. He’s ideally your first wing off the bench playing around 20-25 minutes a night, but we don’t really have other options right now. And he probably should be more of a SG. That shouldn’t be held against him, though. He’s doing anything asked of him (other than getting vaccinated  ). We’re wasting his talents. Sure. He should be dealt to a competitor for a 2nd or two. We’re not at the point to use him at his best. But he’s not been bad this year. At all. He’s been pretty good. He was just outstanding two years ago for us.

Rough start 8-0 in less than 2 minutes.

Good thing is LeVert is on fire with 22 points in first quarter. I’m hopeful other GM’s are watching. :D :D

Trade price being justified by this performance if they want a scorer.

Chicagos just coming down every time and dumping it into Vucevic. With no one over 6’7”, it’s like schoolyard ball against your big brothers

Levert put up 22 points in the first quarter! He looked to make 0 passes and his teammates noticed and just stopped running back, it seemed. He also is playing 0 defense. Taylor won the opening tip and Levert didn’t move for he ball, giving Chicago an easy fast break layup on the opening possession, for example.

He really might go for 50. We really might give up 150 (again). :sigh:

Maybe he is auditioning?

I've heard it said that he is not endearing himself to the other players or coaches recently. If he is not traded, this could get ugly.

Interesting. Where’d you happen to hear that? I haven’t seen anything of it myself. He’s always been referred to as a likable dude from what I’ve seen.

For sure, he’s getting tunnel vision. He’ll miss wide open teammates 2-3 times before he will rem, enter to look for them, but they assume he’s getting tunnel vision and won’t look. It’s a tough cycle.

Near the end of the half LeVert drove low and could have easily bounced a pass underneath and around Vucevic to Taylor for an easy basket. Instead he missed a bunny shot leaning in around Vucevic.

Perry hit his only shot attempt with a sweet swish from side of foul line and grabbed a rebound in 6 minutes. Would be nice if he’s a talented player hustling to get back in the NBA and we can see enough to utilize him until our injuries are settled.

I think it was on one of C Cooper's reports. Something about LeVert ignoring plays and the visual reactions
of his teammates and coaches. Also about him ignoring the other guys when they are open.

EDIT: After posting this, I see that Wizop has posted one of her references to it all.

Too bad we didn’t have Brimah to call up to guard Vucevic. JK

Oshae with an absolute defensive lapse at the end there on Dosunmu. Then, Levert dribbled out of bounds on the other end.

What a weird game.

It just chaps my a$$ to look at the 10 mil per year mistake play 7 minutes going 0-3 and no other stats. Who’s hustling and invested these rookies are. Will be so glad when Jeremy Lamb is outta town.
Please someone give Herb some expensive wine or some broadway theater tickets in trade for the 10 mil per season mistake at the deadline. PLEASE :banghead:

Oshae looked out of sorts tonight earlier. Might be getting under his skin seeing Jackson now Taylor excelling in their earned playing time.
