Forgot to mention Rick Carlisle is out for 2 games personal leave. Lloyd Pierce head coach these games.

Insert jokes if you’re inclined.

Luckily Grizzlies aren’t at full strength with
Ja
Brooks
Clarke
all missing from the starting lineup. Still have enough talent on that team to embarrass us or at least win easily.

Took a quick peek at halftime of NCAA game. One possession was enough. Back to the college games.

Terry Taylor doing good things. If he can learn effective defense next year his hustle/activity, rebounding, and put back buckets will get him second unit minutes.

Do you think Carlisle also didn't want to watch this game?

Indiana has special players. Born in and drafted by other teams that is :-? .

Got to admire that the FO wants to stay neutral about homestate players, but if they have Indiana ties, you would expect that our scouts do all what's humanly possibly to value those players and yet we see another failure to detect the potential of an Indiana guy.

Could be that Bane now loves the South more, so just trying to capture reality here, no complete judgement.

lots of people missed on Bane. actually Donnie Walsh believed that Indiana guys could face too much pressure here. specifically he thought Rick Mount would have been better if drafted elsewhere and avoided possible similar mistakes. I have no idea whether the front office thinks that way now.

Right, credit to Memphis (or Boston or... hard to tell what all those trade(d pick)s  ).

It can be a factor, so we'll gladly accept who the FO acquires :).
