It’s just one night but tonight is set up to not be good for the lottery scenario.

Pacers at Raptors tough odds to win with only 8 players possibly but a wi would be huge and help more than hurt.

Bulls at Cavaliers hoping Cavs can win on home court. If they win and Raptors win 3 way tie with Bulls. If lose and Raptors win fall to 7th.

Thunder at Nuggets likely another loss keeping them close to Pistons, Magic, and Rockets.

Kings at Magic is most likely a Magic win keeping Kings tank on but moves Magic closer to Thunder and ahead of Pistons.

Rockets At TrailBlazers another crucial game we need Rockets to lose. Win and it helps Traiblazers tank more and moves them ahead of Pistons and possibly Magic if they lose.

So rooting for
Cavaliers
Pacers
Trailblazers
Thunder
Kings

Kings up 4 at half. Pacers could give up yet another 70 point half. Kelvin Sampson's team out.

I saw a report on Twitter that the Pacer’s being a dumpster fire was cause for concern

In all seriousness it was the right thing to evacuate and control the speaker fire issue.
Fans not allowed back but game will resume and be hopefully completed.

A little fire won't stop a tank. Well maybe it'd stop a Russian tank.

In all seriousness in the games left in the season we will see the huge talent difference between the Pacers and the better teams in the league.

Any fans who think the Pacers are close and just need a couple draft picks are so out of touch. All of us here know that they need so much just to make the playoffs next season.

I’m pretty sure the FO and coaches understand talent upgrades as much as possible in this small market have to be maximized to be relevant.

Kings beating Magic tonight gives us a bit more cushion.

Absolutely. This won't be a quick rebuild. No reason to keep Brogdon around either.

We're looking at a top 5 and top 20 picks this year and another lottery pick next year. Just doesn't seem any other way around it.

We're playing Hali and a bunch of backups. These final games aren't representative of next season.

As for Brogdon, I'm more than okay moving him if the draft gives us a top guard. But not if it gives us a forward.

Cavs in danger of being passed by Raptors.

Yes, but the defense has been awful ever since Dan Burke left. Turner obviously improves our interior defense but i don't see how the missing guys will really buy in and change the teams defense to be able to compete with the best teams in the conference? I don't think we will be bottom 5 next season, but it's hard to imagine them not being in the lotto.

I’m hopeful that KP/Chad/Carlisle will pull off another trade in our favor where we get a talent upgrade, experience, and pieces that fit better. Draft helps minimally as we saw this year in our 2 first round picks aren’t difference makers yet. FA pool is not great as the best will resign with their current teams.

Definitely need more emphasis on defense from everyone not named Turner. Too many times I don’t see a close out on three point shooters. I wonder if Pierce gets another year as D coach since this year was so fragmented. We really don’t know how seriously they tried to implement defensive strategies with the season long player shuffling.

Regardless we’ve got to catch up fast talent wise with the rest of the league 1-15 and have a healthy starting unit that executes offense better creating easier scoring opportunities routinely. If they take the youth movement it’s gonna be a few years.

We played Hali, Hield, Anderson, Brissett, Smith, Sykes, Lance, and Taylor.

We sat Brogdon, Duarte, McConnell, Washington, Warren, Turner, Goga, Jackson, and Rubio.

Anyone doubt that the team that didn't play would have won easily over the team that did play?

You can see it reflected on the players. This is having a real effect on many of them.
