When (not if) we fall 20 behind, I'm going to Netflix.

I missed a comeback but it fell short. We did cover spread. Can't give up 60 point halves. Other games are going badly for the Cavs. Oh, well.

Gotta say, after going down by 30+ in the first half, this team valiantly fought back to eventually take the lead, and eventually lose by 7 in a hard fought game. Losing in a tank kind of hurts, and is risky to the players long term winning mentality, but it’s great to see them fight back and play with effort. Bodes well long term for guys like Hali.

Also, Was this the game where Lance was at his most “Lance-iest” in a long time?!?

I thought after they got down huge in the first half they played a bit better. Second half until the last few minutes they played with heart, purpose, and determination to take the lead.

I thought Goga played strong offensively and defensively against the MVP. Perfect no but I’m impressed he didn’t get into foul trouble or foul out. Played with confidence.

Terry Taylor playing as well as his inexperience and talent let’s him. +++

Hield and Haliburton played well considering how undermanned the team is. When they’re surrounded by more scoring threats they’ll look better yet.

Smith played ok and would have been better if he’d hit a few more of his shots.

Anderson took a few shots (because he was put into the starting lineup) that would be better off taken by a better scorer.

Rest of the team hustled but just not enough to beat a deep and talented team. Being undermanned in the end was too much to contend for the victory in the closing minutes.

Darn shame this had to end as another loss, but the team can be proud of the battle they put on in the second half.
