Yes he’s incredibly talented but Wacko nailed my concerns with A. Davis in his salary vs availability. My path I’m hopeful for is that just as we snagged a young Hali for Domas that the Pacers FO finds a team that wants to trade a young player or 2 for Brogdon. Pair that with our new draft picks this draft and let our youth get experience. A bonus is if Warren returns healthy.

Also have to remember Turner was injured, so that may have played into things.

I haven't seen any Anthony Davis to the Pacers rumors. Maybe there are some Laker fans wanting to ship him out somehere/anywhere cuz he has been injured too often? Still, Davis is a win-now piece regardless of the flaws in his game. He doesn't fit the Pacers timeline at all.

a healthy Davis would change our timeline.

Yeah, but I don’t think we’ll have much of a timeline after paying the market rate for acquiring AD.

If you're referring to the trade board, the activity is almost exclusively from fans of other teams posting trade ideas to acquire Turner at a discount

I think the Pacer would trade him if the offer was good enough, Charlotte has been festering for him for a time now. One of their fans on the T&T offered up their 2 picks 13 and 15 with Oubre and Plumlee for Turner. I might have to do that even though I don't really want to move him.

To me Oubre and Plumlee don't start the conversation. Wonder why Charlotte would want to get rid of them.
If this were a stronger draft, then those picks might be something to look at. In this draft? Not so much.

Oubre and Plumlee would merely be the salary matching required to acquire Turner. The value would be almost solely in the draft picks (#13 and #15).

Neither player is very exciting but the 2 #1's could be combined to move up to say #8-9 or #13 and #31 could move us up a spot or 2 say to #11?

If the Pacers FO wants a long slow rebuild I could see them making a move like this to try and groom Duarte, Washington, Jackson, Taylor, plus at least3-4 draft picks from this draft either into future stars or future valuable trading assets. Of course retaining Haliburton.

The owner does not. I don't see Turner going anywhere.

Not sure if y’all have seen on social media, but a bunch of the young guys have stayed in Indy and kept working out. Looks like Haliburton, McConnell, Brissett, Jackson, Washington, and Taylor?

they have been spotted watching Fever games too - which makes a lot of sense if you are a tall young man looking to befriend tall young women.

Lance has also been in town at a Fever game or two.

And if you live basketball, the Fever are the only game in town right now. And they’re already looking worlds better than last year.

I started a separate thread for workouts. I hope people agree with that decision.

It's very good that Tyus Jones had such a bad (shooting) performance last night.
It decreases the odds the Pacers add another bench/secondary playmaker/leading a bad team point guard, who will get exposed leading a playoff team.

Collison, Hill, Brogdon, even Haliburton needs a break down the defense type of player next to him.
Brunson seems to fit, but as usual, Pacers discover after player starts to shine and market price is trough all the roofs of owtc.
