INDIANAPOLIS — Third-year Pacers center Goga Bitadze thought he was a hard worker — then he met Terry Taylor.

"People don't realize, I was telling these other guys when we had the training camp we used to have two practices," Bitadze said. "And at night I used to come back to do recovery, and this guy was in there playing one-on-one full court. Just unbelievable."

Fast forward a few months and Taylor, an undrafted rookie, has gone from the fringes of the NBA to starting Wednesday night against Denver superstar and reigning MVP Nikola Jokic. The Nuggets prevailed for a 125-118 victory at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, but not before Taylor nearly helped Indiana make history.

I believe with a few more years of experience Terry can become a solid second unit player. Look at what he’s been able to do on a 2 way deal this season.

Not intimidated by size
Fantastic body strength
Obviously super offensive rebounding ability
Many times bodies players without fouls
Confident put back ability in paint
Slashes and drives off of passing cuts

Areas to improve
Outside shot
Ball handles
Driving with ball
Improve defensively
Improve defensive rebounding

Not bad for an undrafted G league find
Praise for him and the FO
