I'd say you owe your family a big favor for giving you a good excuse to miss this game.

We're at sea in the Mediterranean. With the time difference I doubt I'll see the final scores until morning.

Thanks. A few years ago I was on a cruise this time of year and the Pacer playoff games were on at 2am. Won't have that problem this year.

Absolutely ! Out of all the misfortune and changes to the organization this past season the main positive I see is new player acquisitions which combined with the upcoming off season moves will hopefully make a better team that can compete for years to come.

Still uncertainty in the strength of our coaching staff but I believe this upcoming season’s performance will show us more.

At the very least there will be a very youthful energetic squad with a new outlook and renewed hope of a much better outcome.

Indeed

My son is a half season ticket holder for a few years now and I’m sure he’s also pretty upset about repeatedly driving to Indy from Columbus to see this disappointment of a season. He needed a warm weather get away and didn’t once want to know the score yesterday

In the past, we were pretty sure which coaches were responsible for which aspects of the game. This year? Not so much. At least it has not been clear to me. Maybe the responsibilities are being divided up differently than in the past?

I know I had to ask a writer who was responsible for the crap defense and they told me it was Pierce. Only other note I’ve heard repeatedly is that Boucek was working with TJ McConnell in practice.

Never heard anything about Weiner, Nored, Pargo, Marsh, and Cheney.

Pargo, Marsh, and Cheney were “player development”, so they were doing a lot of one on one work in the facility with individual players. Marsh also is leaving for a job on Becky Hammon’s new Las Vegas wnba staff.

From what guys like Agness have written, we didn’t have the classic “offensive coordinator” or “defensive coordinator” roles. I think part of that is that we no longer run with just two assistants like we did under Bird where Carlisle ran the offense and Harter ran the defense.
