I think its going to be Keegan Murray, Mathurin goes to Pistons at 5 which opens this up.

I've been wanting Murray since early this season hope he's there but I'm betting it will be Ivey.

I am thinking Daniels. Put a defensive minded secondary ball handler next to Hali.

I think someone makes the trade with Kings for #4 for Ivey

Pistons at #5 will probably pick Murray, considering they just dumped Grant

Pacers at #6 will probably have to decide between Mathurin, Daniels, Griffin, or Sharpe

They had solo workouts for Mathurin and Griffin, so it seems like they have more interest in those two?

Hope that's not what that means. Griffin makes no sense to me at 6.

I think it would be a surprise if Ivey and Murray didn't go in the top 5. I picked Mathurin in the poll but I'd be very happy with Daniels and wouldn't throw things if it is Sharpe or Sochan although I hope we try to get a pick in the teens for Sochan.

I'm thinking we try hard to trade up to 4 and get Ivey. If we stay at 6 then I think it's Mathurin. I would love either outcome as long as we don't give up too much to move up. If the Kings think Murray will drop to 6 then that makes a trade for 4 much more likely Imio

I really want a 3/4 kind of guy at some point in this draft. Sochan. Eason. Liddell. LaRavia. Etc.

If we don’t trade up for Ivey I hope it’s Daniels.

I predict that the Pacers will select the player that we really, really wanted.
The player that all of our scouts had at the top of their list to select at #6.

Kamagate, Braun, lots of names at 31.

Shades of Bill Polian who always claimed that everyone went off just the way he had them on his board.

I like him too. Whoever we take should be able to play with Hali and Duarte. Best case is a 3 or 4 so Duarte can be the 2.

Did you expect something else in Kevin's world where rainbows shine every second?

Nah he was a lot of talk about the seriousness of getting this right. Well it was hard to miss on Mathurin. However, time will tell on Nembhard and Brown. I’m not stoked about this draft except Benedict.

I’m expecting better moves upcoming from him to shape up this roster before the season starts. Otherwise the roster currently is unfinished proportionally.

I've never heard any GM say after a draft that they didn't like the guys they took. from where I sit, taking Nembhard when we have point guards was a clear admission that we're looking past this year. trading back in for Brown is a gamble on a high ceiling fallen star.

Years ago, the LA Lakers renounced their rights to their first round pick just weeks after making a draft night trade for him. It can happen.
