I haven't seen this posted so sorry if I missed it.

I came across a recent interview Stephen Simon did with Inside Indiana Business.

I don't think he said anything earth shattering but it's always noteworthy when one of the owners speak. We rarely hear from Herb Simon and I don't think i've ever seen Stephen do an interview since being named an owner.

I'm very intrigued with Steve. In the end of this clip, Benner talks about Steve is forward thinking. I remember reading a article about him a year or two ago that said he's a big believer in data and analytics, which adds up to the hiring of Carlisle because on top of hiring him, the Pacers really modernized their front office in the data department, but i think as Steve gets more control of the team, the more we will see the team focus more on data and numbers throughout the organization that leads to coaching working directly with the basketball data engineers. I think thats where sports are headed anyways but from the sounds of it, he's a believer in that line of thinking. For signing free agents, picking college kids at the draft to even building lineups.
