I hate these back to back series, its so hard beating the same team twice back to back nights, essp on the road in the NBA. Wonder what the records are of teams playing back to backs? Made sense during covid but now, i cant stand it.

This isn't back to back. Both teams rested yesterday. Slick said years ago that they should do home stands like baseball to cut travel. Made sense to me

Expected trouble tonight but closed out first half nicely. Duarte looking like himself.

Back to back against the same team.

It would be great for parity.

They somehow stopped going to Duarte in the final minutes

So, instead of addressing the mental misfits they count on to be "stars", they fire the coach.

By the way, the last I knew, a "star" was a self-illuminating mass of hot gas. Appropriate, I think.

This is why you have to be very careful what superstars you put on your team. Kyrie has created issues or made waves wherever he’s played. Durant is a ring chaser with no loyalty.

I guess Nash wasn’t keeping them happy enough for them to get them all in. I really don’t feel Nash is a top coaching talent, but not sure if this was his fault.

Reminds me of Russell W. disruption in LA and how Lebron is so outspoken causing Vogel to exit.

I read the thread on the Nets forum here after we beat them and almost all of the messages wanted to fire Nash. the rest wanted to bench Simmons,

It’ll be interesting to see this project / trainwreck unfold. Woj said few hours ago “there may not be a coach on this planet that can save these Nets”. He may be right.
