I missed watching the Nets vs Pacers series for the most part. What’s happened to Jalen Smith’s hot start ? Box scores look like he didn’t match up well against the Nets.

Looking at the stat of the day it seems like we have players who on a given night can be the man, but not every night do they show up like a playoff winning team needs.

The thing I see lacking from the Pacers still is a fluid offense that all players can thrive in. I’m sure it’s still a work in progress to get everyone on the same page. It just feels like the 3 and 4 positions are still a weakness that may not be addressed until next year via the draft, trade, or FA.

It’s just hard knowing we’re going through the growing process like Orlando,Detroit, Houston, OKC, and the other bottom feeders.

Nesmith out with other foot soreness which can happen when dealing with plantar fasciitis.

Jackson hurt his knee last game but practiced today and sounds like probably will play.

Several key players out for the Heat. Let's steal one.

Thought missed free throws were going to cost us a W. My son went to the game and he's been in full tank mode so I'll be interested to see if he liked the win.

Lost Duarte for a while, but impressive to win against a depleted Heat squad.

In games like these you have to think the Heat chose to rest Butler because they thought they could get a win and save some wear and tear on their star. I’ve seen it backfire on a few other teams (resting) wink wink this year.

This team is so much more fun to watch. Is our defense getting better or was Miami that bad?

Turner's shot blocking matters. Also TJ and Nembhard defended well.

Nembhard on Herro on the final possession was great. He's played very good. He did well vs. Harden and Beal earlier this season and now was on Herro late in this one and closed the game out. Very impressive rookie.

Adebayo got exposed

His defense didn't look anything too special, and his offense was just plain bad

From now on, every time I cringe at Turner not being more dominant on offense, I'll remember Adebayo's performance here and feel better

First game for the year I’ve been able to watch and it was a lot of fun. We move the ball well and have a lot of creativity. Our D is solid.

I like this team.

Put better defenders on the floor and the defense will improve, who would have thought? Will be interesting if Pacers get on a little run. Maybe Hield and Turner have enough fun that they want to stay? In the meantime, Warriors look like another team that could be desperate for veteran help. Kuminga and Moody would be interesting targets. If nothing else fuels the chat boards.
